The base salary for this position is $24.72 hourly.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of all areas and equipment within the facility. Wipe down all equipment (including weights) and mop the fitness floor to ensure a hygienic and safe environment. Other areas include but are not limited to: tables, chairs, walkways, the lap pool area, locker rooms, floors, tennis courts, retail area, outdoor fitness hales, etc. Must monitor all water stations to ensure they are clean, filled with water and that clean cups are available at all times. Both hand and bath towels must be collected, cleaned and adequately stocked during hours of operation. Take appropriate action to report or rectify all broken, damaged equipment/areas or hazardous situations throughout the facility.
Responsible for making regular patrols of the facility to insure that all established rules, regulations and policies are being followed. Will also be responsible for addressing, correcting and reporting (when necessary) any breach of these policies with tact and diplomacy
Responsible to check-in guests to the Sports Club/tennis garden, provide towels and keys.
Responsible to speak with guests in person and over the phone to answer questions and take reservations.
Responsible to take and track guest temperatures upon check-in.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Outdoor conditions, sometimes hot, humid, windy conditions, moderate walking, bending and twisting. Associates must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
Full-time and part-time positions must be available all hours and shifts
MENTAL DEMANDS
Must be able to speak, read and write English and give clear and specific instructions while performing essential functions.
Must be able to function independently and effectively under tight deadlines without compromising quality of work or general work productivity.
Must possess an excellent understanding of the game of golf.
Must possess knowledge of working within the confines of collective bargaining settings.

Participate in associate and community relations functions.
Participate in promotional events outside of the resort as needed.
Interface with guests on a regular basis for guest satisfaction and PR purposes.
Ability to remain versatile and flexible.
Stay aerobically and anaerobically fit on a regular and consistent basis (five days a week).
Must be fast moving, energetic and enjoy being on his/her feet all day.
Must be outgoing and enthusiastic with a positive mental attitude.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
Able to think, speak and give instructions in a clear and concise fashion without confusion.
Must have a strong ability to work with people, and possess some experience in interpersonal relationships able to work with people from a variety of ethnic backgrounds.
Must be self-motivated and results oriented.
Ability to project self in a professional manner.
Skilled in computerized spreadsheets, inventory and POS software. Ability to input into and access information from a computer accurately.
The ability to think and respond quickly to pending problems and ability to effectively process information and prioritize tasks at hand.
Ability to make decisions that are in the guests and department’s best interests.
Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
Ability to focus attention to details.
Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding/difficult guests/employees and/or situations.
Ability to ascertain guest needs and comply with such to ensure guest satisfaction.
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality of all guest and S&F information.
Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.
Ability to work without direct supervision.
