A Receiving Clerk ensures each delivery meets the property’s exacting standards. From fine linens to gourmet ingredients, they carefully inspect shipments for quality, accuracy, and presentation worthy of a five-star experience. With polished precision, they document inventory, coordinate with departments, and maintain seamless organization behind the scenes. Discreet yet detail-obsessed, they swiftly resolve discrepancies to protect the guest experience. In essence, they ensure every item entering the hotel reflects the sophistication and excellence guests expect.
● Receive, inspect, and verify all deliveries to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with the resort’s luxury standards.
● Coordinate with purchasing, culinary, housekeeping, spa, and engineering teams to ensure timely distribution of goods across all departments.
● Maintain precise inventory records, including logging shipments, tracking discrepancies, and updating inventory systems.
● Communicate professionally with vendors and drivers to resolve shortages, damages, or delivery issues promptly and discreetly.
● Organize and maintain receiving areas in immaculate condition, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and compliance with safety and health standards.
● Performs additional duties, responsibilities, or projects as assigned to ensure exceptional guest service and efficient operation of the hotel.

- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or inventory control, preferably within a luxury hotel or resort environment.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
