Job Description

At Auberge Collection, we believe that building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service to our partners is essential to achieving success in the luxury hospitality market. As a Sales & Business Development professional, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by cultivating partnerships, identifying business opportunities, and ensuring seamless coordination with hotel operations.

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within the Collegio alla Querce family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their team members. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

Revenue Generation & Account Management

  • Support the hotel’s leisure revenue goals by generating transient business for the property.

  • Build relationships with key luxury consortia accounts including Virtuoso, AMEX, Signature, FHR, and others.

  • Solicit, negotiate, and service appropriate luxury FIT/wholesale accounts, including agent training, marketing, and reservations.

  • Target key accounts to host familiarization trips to increase ROI.

Collaboration & Guest Experience

  • Work with property operations to ensure all VIP consortia guests are properly noted and accommodated.

Analysis & Strategic Planning

  • Analyze forecast, cost, and revenue reports to make strategic business decisions.

  • Evaluate promotional events, trade shows, and community or industry events to ensure attendance produces the proper return on investment.

Database & Documentation

  • Accurately maintain and build the Salesforce database of clients and accounts.

This role is an invitation to drive growth and elevate the Collegio alla Querce experience. As a Sales & Business Development professional, your expertise, communication skills, and strategic thinking will be pivotal in maximizing revenue and strengthening luxury partnerships.


Qualifications

Experience

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Hotel Sales Manager or Luxury Travel Advisor representing a luxury hotel, resort, or travel agency.

  • Previous experience in the US and LATAM markets.

Skills & Attributes

  • Ability to influence and build rapport with key stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated with a competitive spirit to achieve goals.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to effectively represent the property.

  • Ability to travel to attend trade shows, client meetings, local tourism meetings, and other key events.

  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written; additional languages are considered an advantage.

Technical Knowledge

  • Experience with Delphi and Salesforce systems.
