The IT Manager is the on-property technology leader for Knox and is accountable for the successful activation, reliability, and ongoing operation of all hotel technology systems.
This role owns all local IT services for the property, including user support, systems stability, vendor coordination, and alignment with Auberge Home Office technology standards. The IT Manager operates independently on site while serving as the primary technology partner to hotel leadership, Engineering, Regional IT, and Home Office teams.
The position requires a highly hands-on, service-oriented technologist who is comfortable operating autonomously in a luxury, 24-hour hotel environment and who can balance immediate operational support with proactive system management and continuous improvement.
Property Technology Operations
- The IT Manager is the on-property technology leader for Knox and is accountable for the successful activation, reliability, and ongoing operation of all hotel technology systems.
- The IT Manager operates independently on site while serving as the primary technology partner to hotel leadership, Engineering, Regional IT, and Home Office teams.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across user support, issue resolution, and operational continuity for all hotel departments.
- Support basic guest connectivity needs related to WiFi when required
Systems & Infrastructure
- Support and administer Windows-based servers used for file, print, and resort-specific applications
- Maintain and support hotel network infrastructure including switching, wireless, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing
- Support POS systems across restaurant and bar environments
- Support VoIP systems at a basic operational level and coordinate with vendors for advanced changes or troubleshooting
- Partner with Engineering and vendors on any technology-related infrastructure projects
Pre-Opening & Systems Activation
- Support final installation, commissioning, testing, and operational handoff of all hotel technology systems prior to opening
- Coordinate testing across PMS, POS, payment systems, guest room systems, telephony, network, AV, and security platforms
- Partner with Design & Construction, ownership representatives, vendors, and Auberge Home Office teams to identify and close technology gaps before opening
- Support opening readiness checklists, issue tracking, and transition into stabilized hotel operations
Identity, Access & Device Management
- Provision and manage user accounts across JumpCloud, Google Workspace, PMS, POS, and other hotel systems
- Manage access rights, security groups, and permissions in accordance with corporate IT and security standards
- Deploy, support, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices throughout the property
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for all property-level IT vendors and service providers
- Coordinate with corporate IT teams on enterprise platforms, standards, upgrades, and security initiatives
- Partner with department heads and hotel leadership to align technology capabilities with operational needs
- Lead on-property coordination of technology vendors during final implementation, defect resolution, go-live preparation, and post-opening stabilization
- Execute property technology priorities in alignment with Auberge standards, approved project scopes, and regional technology direction.
Security, Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Support cybersecurity standards and participate in audits, assessments, and remediation activities
- Maintain accurate documentation for systems, configurations, vendors, and procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, operational efficiency, and user experience
Who you are
- Experience in Hospitality Accounting and Residential operations preferred.
- A combination of education and experience demonstrating the required knowledge and abilities.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to analyze and interpret integrated spreadsheets and complex financial data.
- Effective leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work schedules that may include weekends and holidays based on operational needs.
