Job Description

Join the Stanly Ranch team as our Engineer I where you will contribute to the success of the Engineering department by bringing demonstrated proficiency in at least 4-6 trades that have a direct impact on the resort and residences.  

  • Participate in the preventive maintenance program of all applicable building equipment in all areas of the resort and residences.

  • Work closely with the Director of Engineering (DOE) & Chief Engineer to ensure your daily workflow is aligned with their assigned prioritization of projects.

  • Demonstrate ENRICH values in all interactions with team members, guests and vendors.

  • Troubleshoot and repair all hotel systems including all H.V.A.C&R, electrical equipment & motors, laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, water and wastewater, carpentry, tile, plumbing, painting and minor automotive repairs as assigned.

  • Assist with maintenance of the hotel fire system, water system, sewage system, and irrigation system.

  • Respond to all guest requests in a timely manner in accordance with Auberge and Stanly Ranch standards.

  • Respond to all emergency or life threatening situations

  • Enforce & follow established safety procedures.

  • Log and communicate all essential information in Engineering logs

The starting range for this position is $32.00/hour. This is the pay rate for this position that Stanly Ranch reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.


Qualifications

  • Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, holidays and weekends

  • Must be proficient in 4 to 6 trades: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, kitchen equipment,  pool equipment, pumps &motors, controls, lighting & general maintenance repairs.

  • High school diploma or equivalent, technical school desired.
