Job Description

As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our team members & guests by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food and beverage requisitions, including alcohol, from The Galley to various spaces within our luxury hotel. You will also be responsible for participating in trash removal from the F&B spaces, and maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

Food and Beverage Delivery:

  • Load and Unload Delivery Vehicles.
  • Deliver food and beverage requisitions, including alcohol, to restaurant spaces, banquet facilities, and other designated areas within the hotel.
  • Ensure all deliveries are accurate, timely, and meet the hotel’s standards of quality and presentation.
  • Handle food and beverages with care, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols.

Customer Service:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure a seamless delivery experience.

Order Management:

  • Verify order details before delivery to ensure accuracy.
  • Use the hotel’s delivery management system to track and confirm deliveries.
  • Assist Purchasing Manager with pulling and loading food beverage and equipment onto trucks.
  • Assist Purchasing Manager with organizing and cleaning cart barn, general storeroom spaces and coolers.  

Trash Removal and Maintenance:

  • Participate in the removal of trash and recycling from food and beverage areas, including restaurants, banquet facilities, and other F&B spaces.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in delivery and trash removal areas.
  • Assist with restocking and organizing supplies as needed.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Comply with all hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
  • Follow all local and state laws regarding the delivery of alcohol.
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of delivery equipment and vehicles.

Pay Rate $20 / hour

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in food and beverage delivery or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of local and state alcohol delivery laws.
  • Ability to Operate a Palate Jack
