Grounds Technician will help to keep White Barn Inn beautiful by maintaining trees, flowers, shrubs and much more.

Qualifications

  • Plant and tree care: Planting, maintaining, and trimming trees, flowers, shrubs, and bushes
  • Landscape bed Maintenance:  Edging, mulching, spraying, pulling weeds, hand watering, irrigation, and some minor lighting
  • Lawn care: Mowing, edging, seeding, fertilizing, and watering lawns
  • Equipment maintenance: Operating and maintaining equipment such as chainsaws, blowers, and lawnmowers, and performing minor repairs
  • Grounds keeping: Raking and mulching leaves, laying sod, and caring for ornamental features like benches, fountains, and planters
  • Snow and storm removal: Clearing snow and debris from walkways and parking lots, yards, and cleaning up after storms all over property
  • Other tasks: Protecting against erosion, ensuring grounds are safe and ready for events, and transporting tools and supplies
  • Lifting 20lbs continually, 50lbs occasionally
  • Working in all weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation in all weather
  • Decorating for events/holidays
  • Interior Plant care when needed
  • Greenhouse and garden work as needed
  • Maintenance duties of the property as needed and assigned
