We are seeking a professional and friendly Chef de rang to join our team in Massignac, France. As a Chef de rang, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests by providing attentive and efficient service in a fast-paced environment.
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about menu items, specials, and beverages
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using point-of-sale systems
- Communicate orders to kitchen staff clearly and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner
- Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service
- Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining and service areas
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth service operations
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas as needed
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve service quality
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of one year experience in customer service or hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in French & English
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
